One And Two: Dodgers 5, Brewers 4
Word on Jason Schmidt is that he builds velocity as the season progresses, so we don't worry too much that his early season fastballs clock in in the low 90's/high 80's; he got the job done, which is what the Dodgers needed, despite getting chased in the fifth when he walked the bases loaded. Takashi Saito almost blew the game again in the ninth, registering one of the scariest saves I've ever heard him execute, some of which is no doubt early season rust, but he did have a 1.04 ERA in spring training. First win, kids; time to get more.
