Travs Announce 24-Man Roster
Angels' AA Texas League affiliate Arkansas have announced their 24-man roster; the big surprise is the assignment of Curtis Pride to this level, where he will be one of the starting outfielders. Sean Rodriguez and Nick Adenhart will also start their seasons at Arkansas, as will pitchers Nick Green, Jesse Smith, and Dan Davidson. Righties Jose Arredondo, Steven Shell, and Rafael Rodriguez, all on the 40-man roster, will move to the bullpen. One other interesting addition to the Travs' rotation is Chris Saenz, a 28th-round selection in the 2001 draft; he's returning from Tommy John surgery.
