Fox Channels To Offer 50 Angels, Dodgers Games In HD

FSN West and Prime Ticket will offer 50 games each of the Angels and Dodgers in HDTV, according to an Angels press release. This is triple the previous number for both teams, and infinity percent more for the Angels, who had not previously been broadcast in HD. The release, which reads like it was supposed to be published on Friday, says that the weekend series between the Reds and Dodgers was telecast in HD.

For the Angels, Wednesday's and Thursday's games against the Mariners will be telecast, though those games aired on HDTV-free KCOP will still be in NTSC. Oddly, all Angels series this month will have two games in HD — except for the Yankees' away series.

The remainder of this week's schedule for the Dodgers, except Wednesday, will be aired on Prime Ticket in HD. Only four of the Dodgers' remaining telecasts this month will not be in HD.
