Mid-Day Roster Notes
- Supposedly the Yankees have contacted the Angels about the availability of Jose Molina. Sure, for Phil Hughes...
- Esteban Loaiza may have suffered a setback in his rehab, as he might miss his next minor league start, this time with knee soreness.
- Update: Recently traded-for outfielder Chris Snelling did what he's done so well thus far, and has been placed on the 15-day DL with a left knee contusion. Oakland purchased the contract of Hiram Bocachica to replace him on the 25-man roster.
- The Rangers placed Brad Wilkerson on the 15-day DL with a pulled right hamstring, and purchased the contract of Kevin Mahar from AAA Oklahoma.
