- OF Brad Coon has been promoted to AA Arkansas from Rancho. Coon was third in the Cal League in stolen bases with 77, and joins the Travs for their series in Frisco.
- Terry Evans has been named to the PCL All-Star Team, scheduled for July 11. Here's an oddity for you: Evans has played exactly one game for the Bees since he was optioned to Salt Lake on June 23.
- The Bees sent down RHP Jesse Smith to Arkansas.

This is a pretty doggone impressive four games for Greg Porter. He's got to be flying on pure adrenalin, soon to meet a more realistic norm. However, wouldn't it be great if our coaches have identified a potentially power-hitting left-handed RFer?.......a BIG man, too!
At the very least, it gives potential trade partners something else to look at while building "depth" for the Angels.
I recall that Rob Quinlan was 26 when he debuted in 2003. He also played 3B, 1B, and OF.
