Good news, Dodger fans: Shea Hillenbrand still has what it takes to hit AAA pitching. Unfortunately, the 51's pen wasn't so hot, as Dwayne Pollok, who's been either lights out or a gascan, went inflammable and surrendered five runs by himself, all earned, while making only two outs of a ten-run sixth inning that saw 14 River Cats come to the plate. The 51's mounted a three-run rally in the bottom of the ninth, capped by Hillenbrand's two-run homer, his first of the (minor league) season.

John Lindsey and Wilken Ruan also homered, Lindsey's a three-run shot in the fourth and Ruan's a two-run jack in the first.

Another interesting prospect note: it appears Bobby Jenks tied the MLB record last night for consecutive batters retired (41).

He was an a**hole, but apparently a cheap, largely effective one.

Emphasis on "large".

"Good news, Dodger fans: Shea Hillenbrand still has what it takes to hit AAA pitching." one game is even a smaller sample size than the 12 games Padres/Portland gave him. Is his AAA average up to .200 yet?

nice info Andrew - interesting
