- Eric Stults will get the callup to the rotation as a result of Mark Hendrickson's demotion to the bullpen.
- Former Angel Adam Kennedy's season came to an end when he had arthroscopic surgery done to repair cartilage in his right knee. The operation was performed in Los Angeles by Angels team physician Dr. Lewis Yocum.
- With Shea Hillenbrand's promotion to the Dodgers, he becomes the
13th player to play for the Dodgers and the Angels in the same
