Bartolo Colon was activated off the 15-day DL but nobody is committing to his next start. Similarly, during the game broadcast, the Angels announced they will bring Brandon Wood and other minor leaguers to the big club now that the Bees' PCL postseason is over (see below).Update: The other player getting a callup from Salt Lake is Terry Evans.

Robert Fish, who has been up and down all season (and had a streak of 12 straight games in which he failed to make a quality start) suddenly seems to have become the hand of Thor in the postseason, coming within three outs of a complete-game shutout, fanning a season-high 13 and giving up only two hits, both singles, retiring the side in order in six different innings, and setting down the last 13 batters he faced. Only one baserunner made it to second, and that on a balk.

Mason Tobin got the save in an uneventful ninth, giving up a single but getting a double play ball to make up for it.
With the win, the Owlz are now South Division Champions and advance to the Pioneer League finals, to face either the Great Falls White Sox or Helena Brewers.
