News
- Salt Lake recalled RHP Jeff Kennard from AA Arkansas.
- The Angels put Chone Figgins on the 15-day DL for his hamstring problems, and called up Kendry Morales. Morales will be used as a bat off the bench, a role he would seem to be singularly unsuited for.
- Maicer Izturis will start his rehab assignment with high-A Rancho on Monday.
- I must have missed a number of injuries at Arkansas, because the Travs signed OF Adam Greenberg, previously with the Cubs organization and briefly (in 2006) with the Dodgers, and in Rangers' systems as well. The 27-year-old was playing in indy ball for Bridgeport in the Atlantic League.
- I don't care whose system you follow, you really need to look at the Inland Empire/Lancaster game below.
Scores

Arredondo: (S, 10), 1.0 IP, 0 R, 0 ER, 0 H, 0 K, 0 BB, 2.12 ERA
The Bees continue to find ways to win, despite continuous rotations in and out of their lineup, rotation, and bullpen. Down 8-1 after five and a half, the Bees rallied for two in the sixth on Adam Pavkovich's RBI double, and then really hit the afterburners in the seventh by pushing six more across the plate on a fusillade of singles and walks.

I direct your attention to the ten run ninth, which is to say, the 66ers were already winning by a 14-run margin before that insane frame started... scoring came on all manner of balls hit and not hit, and reads something like "The Twelve Days of Christmas" for baseball:
