Furcal Has Another Setback, Nomar To Start At Shortstop On His Return; UPDATE: Hu Optioned To Vegas
Well, this is an interesting development: Tony Jackson reports that Rafael Furcal has had another setback, and his return date has been pushed back until the week before the All-Star break, i.e. the last week of June. Nomar Garciaparra will get the starting job at short upon his return, which should be after he finishes a rehab stint, commencing at the end of this week.
Update: As expected, Chin-Lung Hu has been optioned to AAA Las Vegas.
