Salvage: Angels 2, Braves 0
Sauce for the goose, as the unknown (to the Braves) lefty Hokie Joe pitched a shutout through seven and a third. The offense was still terrible, but a rare homer from Casey Kotchman proved to be all the offense the Angels needed.
Related: Mike Scioscia is said to be thinking about bringing in Rivera, Willits, and Quinlan (?) as options to help boost the team's — wait for it — on base percentage?
Whatever happened to RISP2 hitting?
