Hideo Nomo Retires
Strange, isn't it, to think that Hideo Nomo announced his retirement today? It seems he's been gone much longer than that; he pitched briefly for the Royals this year, but was out of the majors for two years before that, and hadn't been effective since his 2003 season with the Dodgers. (Hat tip: BTF.)
