Looks Like I Picked A Bad Good Time To Stop Sniffing Glue Watching The Dodgers

With in-laws in town, I missed the last two games in this series, and it's just as well: the Dodgers lost two straight games, yesterday's an embarrassing 10-1 blowout with Clayton Kershaw taking five runs of that damage, and Ramon Troncoso four, while the Dodgers' offense was four-hit in a complete game by Ubaldo Jimenez, who suddenly started looking like his old self from late last year. Kershaw's horrible line makes me wonder about the sanity of Dodgers management, who seem to be rushing Kershaw's development.

Today, the Blue got hit with a 5-3 loss in which Hiroki Kuroda suffered from two bad innings, and the offense wasn't able to pick it up. Matt Kemp hit well (yay), but Andy LaRoche, the latest Rorschach test of kids-vs-proven-veterans, picked up only one hit and stranded four (as did Andre Ethier, but he's given a pass for general good behavior in the past). Oddly enough, Fangraphs gives Nomar the blame of the game, mostly for hitting into a pair of double plays.
