Heath Totten earned his second win since returning to the Dodgers system, but it was mostly the offense that carried the day on a 106°F evening. The 51's took a 2-0 lead in the first on Terry Tiffee's two-run jack in the first and never looked back. Ramon Martinez also homered, a one-out solo shot in the seventh. B.J. LaMura earned an unusual four-inning save, his first of the year.

Clayton Kershaw's second quality start since returning to AA, and his most dominant in that span.
