Bonilla: (W, 3-2) (in relief), 1.0 IP, 0 R, 0 ER, 0 H, 1 K, 1 BB, 4.44 ERA
Kill those green and yellow monsters... er, whatever colors their AAA team wears, yeah. This game was won on a walkoff three-run jack by Sean Rodriguez (.302/.413/.642) off 31-year-old quadruple-A pitcher Bret Prinz, and this blog is officially on the Sean Rodriguez Bandwagon, oh yeah, baby.

Oh, yeah, Brandon Wood homered, too, a one-out solo shot in the seventh. Whatevs, Brandon, whatevs.

2008-07-11: Tulsa 12, Arkansas 0 #
Pettit: 1-4, 1 K

Rodriguez, R: 1.0 IP, 3 R, 3 ER, 3 H, 0 K, 1 BB, 1 HR, 2.49 ERA
Arkansas' worst blowout of the year, it also featured every pitcher named Rodriguez in the Travs' roster, in order, Fernando, Francisco, and Rafael, with Stephen Marek thrown in besides.
2008-07-11: Rancho Cucamonga 18, High Desert 2 (7 innings) #
Bourjos: 1-2, 1 RBI, 2 BB
Nieves: 2-3, 1 2B, 1 HR, 5 RBI, 1 BB, 1 K
Mount: 2-4, 1 3B, 1 HR, 3 RBI, 1 BB

Rosario, Al: 2-4, 1 RBI
O'Sullivan: (W, 10-4), 7.0 IP, 2 R, 2 ER, 8 H, 0 K, 0 BB, 5.63 ERA
Four Quakes went deep in this game, and Wil Nieves cashed in five baserunners in a crazy game played in 91 degree temperatures with the wind blowing out to center at 21 MPH. High Desert stinks as a park.

Sean O'Sullivan pitched a complete game seven-inning shutout as the first game in a makeup double-header for his tenth win of the season.

2008-07-11: Rancho Cucamonga 4, High Desert 7 (7 innings) #
Bourjos: 1-4, 1 K
Nieves: 0-2, 2 BB
Mount: 0-4, 3 K
Trumbo: 1-3, 1 2B, 1 K
Toussaint: 3-3, 1 RBI

Rembisz: 2.2 IP, 4 R, 4 ER, 6 H, 2 K, 0 BB, 2 HR, 6.35 ERA
Towns: (L, 0-1) (in relief), 2.1 IP, 3 R, 0 ER, 3 H, 0 K, 1 BB, 1.23 ERA
Bell: 1.0 IP, 0 R, 0 ER, 1 H, 0 K, 0 BB, 4.96 ERA
High Desert turned the tables on Rancho, getting a split of the double-header. Interestingly enough, this marked Trevor Bell's fourth straight appearance in relief for Rancho, and his sixth all year. I wonder if that's a Sign.

In case you were wondering, the wind was still pretty blowy, 15 MPH to center but only 77° F outside.

Nabors: (BS, 2)(W, 3-0) (in relief), 0.2 IP, 0 R, 0 ER, 2 H, 0 K, 0 BB, 5.40 ERA
It looked after eight like the Owlz would be able to hold a 10-6 lead, but the Sox stormed back in the top of the frame for four more highlighted by Tyler Kuhn's RBI triple. The Owlz got an infield walkoff single in the bottom of the frame from Ivan Contreras for the win.
2008-07-11: AZL Angels vs. AZL Padres: Postponed #
Apparently due to thunderstorms passing through the Phoenix area, with no indication as to when this will be made up. With rain expected throughout the weekend, there may be substantial disruption to the AZL schedule.
2008-07-11: Tacoma 11, Las Vegas 6 #
Repko: 2-5, 1 2B, 1 RBI, 1 K

Orenduff, J: (L, 2-6), 4.0 IP, 5 R, 5 ER, 7 H, 4 K, 1 BB, 2 HR, 6.78 ERA
Tacoma gave the start to former Angel Jake Woods and, having muffed it by giving up three runs in three innings, ran a tag team of relievers the rest of the way, which mostly baffled the 51's. Justin Orenduff and Brian Akin took the brunt of this beating.
