Scores

A short schedule today... hmm, do you think the guys have the day off for the All-Star game or something?

2008-07-15: Salt Lake did not play
2008-07-15: Arkansas 4, NW Arkansas 7 #
Stavisky: 2-4, 1 HR, 3 RBI, 2 K
Pettit: 3-4, 2 2B, 1 K
De Los Santos: 0-4, 3 K
Ortega: (L, 8-7), 6.0 IP, 6 R, 6 ER, 8 H, 3 K, 2 BB, 3.99 ERA
Browning: 0.0 IP, 0 R, 0 ER, 1 H, 0 K, 0 BB, 3.48 ERA
Marek: 1.2 IP, 0 R, 0 ER, 0 H, 1 K, 1 BB, 3.38 ERA
The Naturals blew out Anthony Ortega, with both sides trading four-run fourth innings; Brian Stavisky hit a three-run jack in that frame, while Northwest Arkansas mostly singled Ortega to death. Unfortunately for the Travs, that was the entirety of their offense, while the Naturals were just getting warmed up, scoring two more on a trio of doubles in the fifth and another on an infield single in the seventh. This latter came off Barret Browning, who failed to make an out against the only batter he faced.
2008-07-15: Rancho Cucamonga did not play
2008-07-15: Cedar Rapids did not play
2008-07-15: Orem did not play
2008-07-15: AZL Angels 5, AZL Giants 2 #
Crawford: 3-4, 1 2B, 1 RBI
Morales: 4-4, 1 2B, 3 RBI
Sumi: 2-3
Serrano, A: 2.0 IP, 0 R, 0 ER, 2 H, 3 K, 0 BB, 0.00 ERA
Correa: (W, 4-0) (in relief), 5.0 IP, 2 R, 0 ER, 4 H, 8 K, 1 BB, 1.24 ERA
Keller: (S, 4), 1.0 IP, 0 R, 0 ER, 0 H, 0 K, 0 BB, 4.82 ERA
Kendry Morales crushed the ball again, and looks like he's ready for a promotion back to Salt Lake. Also making a rehab appearance from Salt Lake: Alex Serrano, who pitched a scoreless two innings to start the game.
