Brandon Wood contributed a three-run homer in the top of the fourth and another RBI besides on a sixth-inning sac fly. Since his breakout doubleheader games of July 19, he's had seven games in which he has not homered, out of 18 played. On the other hand, he's only had three other extra-base hits in that time, all doubles, and five walks. Freddie Sandoval and Sean Rodriguez also contributed with two RBIs apiece. Anthony Ortega got his first career win at AAA, pitching the minimum with only two earned runs while striking out seven.
