Rob, i don't think the Repoz piece quite captures the essence of his 1968 season with the Halos.
If i recall correctly, he was off to a hot start, leading the AL in HRs in April, before being called up for NG duty.
Sure, there are guys that get off to hot starts never to be heard from when August rolls around, but still, what could have been...
