Dodgers Sign Eric Milton To Minor League Deal
Further bolstering their list of spring NRIs, the Dodgers signed LHP Eric Milton to a minor league deal.
Milton, a 10-year veteran, will receive $650,000 if he makes the club with another $1.05 million in starter incentives or $150,000 in relief incentives.

OK, so the Dodgers plan on entering 2009 with exactly one pitcher who threw 200+ innings last year, and that would be Chad Billingsley at 200 2/3. Kershaw may be the real deal, but can they (should they) count on him for 200+ IP? I'm assuming that McDonald will be in there at some point, but color me thoroughly unimpressed with a rotation that could include the likes of the warmed-over corpses of WTE, Randy Wolf, Shawn Estes and Eric Milton. If they don't resign Manny, they could be in real trouble behind two teams that have real rotations in Arizona and San Francisco.
