The One And Only Freeway "Series": Dodgers 6, Angels 2

It's hard to get too worked up about this introductory game; among other things, the Dodgers and Angels have tried hard to avoid each other, and now that they're both playing spring training games in Phoenix or thereabouts, they've cut back to one scrimmage. It seems sad.

The Angels' offense, which had been clicking pretty well most of spring training, got snuffed out, about what I was afraid of. That's doubly true because Dustin Moseley didn't really hold up on the mound, failing to go five innings while coughing up three runs, all earned.

The Dodgers, having a soft target to work with, had a lead the whole way and never looked back. The worst scared I think they ever got in the game was when Guillermo Mota took the mound in the top of the 7th, and once Figgins reached on a walk, the game slowed to a crawl. But of course the Dodgers got out of it.
