Dodgers Postpone La Serie Azul Until 2010
LOS ANGELES -- Due to the ongoing uncertainty of Mexican League games and the schedules of the Dodgers, the Diablos Rojos of Mexico City, and the Sultanes of Monterey, all three clubs concurrently announced today that the regular season Mexican League game that was scheduled for May 16 at Dodger Stadium will be rescheduled for a date to be determined in 2010."We are committed to our partnership with the Mexican League and to fully supporting further development of baseball internationally," said Dodger Director of International Relations Joseph Reaves. "While we were excited to present La Serie Azul this season, we were unable to set a date that worked as perfectly as the original plan for all three clubs, and we all feel that next season we will be able to introduce La Serie Azul as a first-of-its-kind event just as it was designed to be."
All tickets that have been purchased will be refunded automatically if bought with a credit card, and tickets purchased with cash or check can be refunded by returning the ticket to the place of purchase. If purchased at Dodger Stadium or Fiesta Broadway, they can be returned at the Dodger Stadium Advance Ticket office located in Parking Lot P. The Advance Ticket office is open Monday through Saturday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and during all Dodger home games. Tickets purchased at a TicketMaster Outlet must be returned at the outlet.
