From Hell's Hot, I Spit At Thee: Tigers 2, Angels 1
Good news: despite his crummy rehab outings, Kelvim Escobar pitched well in his first return trip to the mound since 2007, giving up only two runs in five innings. The bad news was that ex-Dodger farmhand Edwin Jackson pitched his first career complete game, striking out five and walking one; I can't help but thinking of what might have been. 99 MPH on his 99th pitch in the 9th, too. Geez.

Comments:
Well, technically, Escobar didn't have "crummy rehab outings"(pl). He had one sloppy performance at Salt Lake, but he was completely dominant at Rancho in his two starts there, giving up one unearned run total, with 12 strikeouts against 1 walk.
He still had his Ks last night. He just needs to work on his control.
