Dialing Joe Torre: Giants 4, Dodgers 2 (10 Innings)
Another game I barely got to see; the Dodgers hardly scratched out a couple runs all afternoon against Tim "The Freak" Lincecum (who came within an out of pitching nine innings), but the Giants took advantage of Joe Torre's re-employment of Guillermo Mota and Juan Uribe homered for the win in the 10th. I dunno, given the options, Mota isn't a horrible choice, but Torre also limited himself by pulling starter Jeff Weaver after three and ransacked his bullpen just to get through the game. It didn't look to me like an especially wise move. At least there was the ninth-inning rally to tie it.
