Thus Completing The Trifecta Of Suck: Braves 9, Dodgers 5 (12 Innings)
As I was leaving the park yesterday, I switched to this game, which at the time, the Dodgers were winning.
Well, that didn't last long. Jonathan Broxton recorded his second blown save in his last four appearances, and Ramon Troncoso and Scott Elbert both gave up a pair of runs, Elbert on a three-run jack that allowed the last of his inherited baserunners to score.
The Cubs also lost to Colorado 6-2, hence the "trifecta". Blech.
On top of the loss, Chad Billingsley left the game early with a hamstring strain. Double blech.
