Two Games
Angels Escape Windy City With A Win: Angels 9, White Sox 5
I missed virtually all of this because I had work to do; apparently Vlad hit an absolute bomb in this in the third, and Bobby Abreu unloaded his career 250th longball. Good to see them get a salvage job; Ervin Santana got the win despite another meh pitching performance (four earned runs over six innings).Well, Of Course: Dodgers 5, Braves 4
Derek Lowe comes back to Dodger Stadium and pitches well against his old team? Well, of course. The Dodgers offense strands a bunch of guys (nine in all)? Well, of course.
Andre Ethier finds a way to sneak one over the wall and still win it in regulation? Well, of course.
What a great ending to a game!
