Per Bill Shaikin's piece in the Times, but what's weirder is the by-now ridiculous comment from Bud Selig on the McCourt splitup:
Mannion said the divorce has not affected the club's day-to-day operations. Commissioner Bud Selig said Wednesday he believes the club is "in good hands" for now under McCourt, Colletti and Manager Joe Torre.Damning with faint praise?
