Brendan Donnelly Retires

And a sad day it is, too, as Brendan Donnelly hangs 'em up. He had a 5.58 ERA with Pittsburgh last year.

Donnelly picked up two World Series rings, one with then-Anaheim and a second with Boston in 2007, a World Series win in 2002 Game 6 (the best World Series game played this century, IMO). A great reliever.

as the article mentions, he had a All Star gam win too. Considering the late start and winding road to the Show, his accomplishments are remarkable.

Hate to admit it, but i have to go with G7 of 2001 though for game of the century - end of a dynasty, the HOF's, and so much more tension.
