Rosenthal: Scioscia Losing Patience With Pitching

The Angels might hold off a full evaluation until right-hander Joel Pineiro (right shoulder tightness) and lefty reliever Scott Downs (fractured left big toe) rejoin the club.Whenever words like this come out of the organization, I can't help but to recall Bartolo Colon's 2006, in which he was allowed to make start after start before finally being disabled in July. I will frankly be surprised if Scott Kazmir is not given every possible chance to lose games until at least May 15.
