Am I Getting Old Or Is This Really, Really Good?
A friend forwarded me the link to Outkast's "Hey Ya" video a few months ago. These guys are good! Funny, melodic, and bursting with energy, their Ed-Sullivan-meets-the-Beatles-themed video is the most fun I've had watching or listening to a group in years. The fact that they just won a Grammy made me question my taste a bit (when have they ever been right?), but no matter -- try it, you'll like it. And in the imitation is the sincerest form of parody department, check this out...Science Fiction Single Feature
From Becky, who never recommends a movie unless it's really, really good -- The Lost Skeleton of Cadavra, a "loving, but very funny spoof of '50's and 60's low budget sci-fi movies." Looks like it's leaving town very soon, as they've got one set of prints. Head to the Nuart quick!
