Let's Give 'Em Something To Write About
Over at But It's A DRY Heat, Jim McLennan notes that Jon manages to write quite a lot in the offseason. All perfectly true, especially with the Wagnerian McCourt saga crushing the Dodgers' 2003/2004 chances of picking up a serviceable right-handed bat in left field. From that point of view, I'd certainly much rather the Dodgers were in the Angels' position of having an effective offseason, and have little to write about except for positive (or at least, some) trades.
Meantime, it's only a few days from pitchers and catchers. The wife and I will be headed to ST in Arizona for the Cubs (her team) and Angels some time in mid March.
I can't wait!
