The Ugly News About Labrum Reconstruction

If pitchers with torn labrums were horses, they’d be destroyed. Of the 36 major-league hurlers diagnosed with labrum tears in the last five years, only midlevel reliever Rocky Biddle has returned to his previous level.Of course, that doesn't go into third basemen, but you've got to believe that Glaus is a huge risk going forward, at least at third, and possibly with the bat.
Let's hope that the other Angels have better prognoses than Troy.
