An Open Letter To the Chicago Cubs Organization
Dear Chicago Cubs, Christian Ruzisch, and Cubs fans everywhere:This blog normally doesn't concern itself with the Cubs, but due to marital affiliations (e.g., I married a Cub fan -- hey, it could be the title of a movie someday), I must now speak out. The word is that an MRI on Prior's elbow came back negative, but despite this, he continues, on and off, to experience pain:
"It's something I've been dealing with on and off since spring training," Prior said. "It has been kind of a mental battle, going in every game and battling myself to make sure I'm all right, make sure I'm healthy. Hopefully we can get some answers this time on what it really is. I can't tell you where I'm at or where I'm going to be.You may recall at some point the Angels' Garret Anderson missed over a month due to mystery pains later diagnosed as undifferentiated inflammatory arthritis.The physician's name is Dr. David Brown. Schedule an appointment.
