Hurricane Frances Threatens Florida
Hurricane Frances has prompted Florida authorities to order the evacuation of 2.5 million people in the southern part of that state, including Port St. Lucie, home to a minor league team of the Mets. The Florida Marlins have postponed a game with the Cubs on Friday, and may not play the Saturday and Sunday games as well. Two weeks ago, a number of minor league clubs had to cope with the aftermath of Hurricane Charley, destroying facilities throughout Florida.
Good luck to everyone now in the hurricane's path.
