Panic: Padres 3, Dodgers 0
Despite Jon's morning sedative, we're already one off our battle plan outlined: the Dodgers aren't going to split this series. Jeffy managed a quality start -- just -- but the offense continues to sputter. (As commenter driches asked on the gameday thread, "When he made his deal with devil, why did Adam Eaton ask for superhuman pitching ability against ONLY the dodgers?") And now with Belly up-and-down again -- just when we need him most -- we go to the thin air in Colorado. Come on, boys, we've gotta get the bats going somehow. Break out the kindling, throw some sparks on the fire, call Jobu in, but let's get going.
