Glory, Glory Hallelujah: Angels 5, A's 4

Well, we proved we can beat a team whose offense is slumping a bit, anyway.

No bragging, no boasting here. The A's slumped into giving the Angels the division. I don't want to take away too much from the Angels, but they had the horses and the division going into September.

Richard: I can smell an MVP award for Vlad. I can feel it.

Year of the Rally Monkey. Believe it.

Comments:
Rob, the Dodgers also won, did you remember you wrote season over, I'm glado you were wrong, congratulations, your two teams are in playoffs, sorry for your wife

re MVP: Oh yeah- there's no doubt now. It's his.

Thanks, Raul. Getting here is the goal. Anything beyond that is gravy.

One thing taking some joy out of today was the ridiculous MLB.TV/fox situation. Thankfully, I got LA/SF on TV, but I couldn't watch the angels send the A's back to choketown for the 5th straight year, and had to settle for radio, because MLB.TV has this inane rule that if fox has the rights to show the game, it can't be shown on MLB.TV (even though FOX DIDN'T HAVE THE GAME ON HERE).
blah.
p.s. reading the frisco/a's forums crying about their latest chokes is truly fun. ;)

Raultavares, thank you ever so much, I do appreciate the condolences. I spent an unhappy three days at Wrigley this week, alternately freezing Tuesday night and sunburning Wednesday. (Thursday was less tyring physically, at least.) Seeing Rob so happy today helps to make up for it.

At least now I have no conflicts in rooting for the Dodgers in the postseason. A dear friend is a BoSox fan, and like many baseball fans I'd love to see them win the big rings, I'll be torn regarding the AL. I do so enjoy these Angels.

You and half the population here was suffering, we wanted the Dominican Cub trio to go to the playoffs
