Angels Rookie-A Club Changes Locations, Name
Stephen Smith at FutureAngels passes on some changes about the Angels' minor league system. The Angels' Rookie-A Provo Angels have changed locations and names to the the Orem Owlz. The new website is here. The club was sold earlier in the year to a Los Angeles group, led by developer Jeff Kotofsky. The Provo Angels won the Pioneer League championship in 2004, only their fourth year in the market. Provo and Orem are about five miles away from each other.
