OT: Baby, It's Cold Outside
1. Do you own a winter jacket? But of course. Do I ever wear it? Only when I make it up the hill to Mammoth, which is to say, infrequently.
2. Do you like the winter mountain sports? Skiing, boarding, sledding, snowshoe, etc... Well, skiing can be fun, but I haven't done it in years and would be afraid to try anymore with my knees the way they are.
3. Big Bear, Mammoth or other? Mammoth, definitely.
4. Favorite hot drink? Tea, lately, in particular, Trader Joe's Peppermint Tea.
5. Heater setting? 70 degrees.
6. At night, more blankets, more pajamas, more heater are all of the above? Blankets.
7. Do you go out and enjoy the cold or bundle up and stay inside? Stay inside and bundle up, especially with tea.
8. Cold temps. Stay for a while or bring back the 70s? Hm. I'm going to Arkansas to see my in-laws soon. This will naturally result in an ice storm that will cut us off from civilization -- as it has every ... single ... time I've gone back there in the winter. So while I like the cold weather -- especially, the cold, rainy weather -- I have to admit I'd like to get a taste or two of normal SoCal sunshine before I return to the insane cold that requires crews from 27 states to help dig them out.
