Pickoff Moves, Lunchtime Edition
By the time you read this, your lunchtime is gonna be over. That's because I spent mine writing this column.
A Bust, A Palpable Bust
Roto-heads, beware the ides of March -- and these Dodgers players, says Jeff Erickson:- Jeff Kent (he expects a power decline)
- Odalis Perez (look out for that shoulder)
- Derek Lowe (the usual litany)
- Jayson Werth (not having surgery when you coulda? For shame, doc)
- Kaz Ishii (duh -- too many walks, too high WHIP, not a lock to make the rotation)
- Jose Valentin (eroded offensive skills and shaky D)
- Paul Bako (no offensive value at all)

Mariner to deconstruct the fruits of his labor, calling the piece "70 percent anti-DePo propaganda, 30 percent legitimate criticism". I'm inclined to agree.Newer› ‹Older
