Dodgers, Angels Closest In Revenue Among Multi-Team Markets

Thanks to Lookout Landing for pointing me at this Forbes article giving MLB team valuations and estimated revenue streams. Among the five markets with multiple teams -- New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, the San Francisco Bay Area, and Washington/Baltimore -- the Dodgers and Angels are closest in revenue, with only a $19M difference. The complete list:

Market        Difference
========================
Baltimore/DC     $68M
Chicago          $39M
Los Angeles      $19M
New York         $89M
SF Bay           $43M

So, no surprise, the Yanks outclass the Mets, followed by the Orioles and their obscene deal with MLB. The Chicago teams are about as far apart as the two Bay Area clubs.
