Roster Moves
- Former Dodger Alex Cora was traded to Boston by Cleveland, for Ramon Vazquez.
- The Rockies signed reliever Mike DeJean. DeJean may have had one of the worst seasons ever by any reliever in the major leagues according to Kerry Liebowitz of Birds In The Belfry.
- Former Dodger Brian Jordan was placed on the DL by the Braves, for a knee problem. He was replaced by prospect and 2002 first-round pick Jeff Francoeur. Francoeur is 21.
Update: Francoeur homered in his first major league game, driving in three, helping the Braves win 9-4.
