¿Como Ud. Dice "Jonron" En Inglés? Giants 4, Dodgers 1

Well, that was pleasant. Weaver tosses a gem (well, a gem against the injury-ravaged Giants) only for Yhency to blow up in the ninth. Ghame Over, indeed.

Update: Sorry, Steve, Mota and his 4.29 ERA, 7.57 K/9, 1.88 K/BB record is better than Yhency's 5.54 ERA, 6.99 K/9, and 2.07 K/BB record.

I think I've had about enough of Jayson Werth for a while. His 57 strikeouts are more than his 40 hits on the year, and that pretty much summarizes his uninjured season to date. He showed he can be a useful player last year, but he's rapidly declining to irrelevance, so much so that threats of putting Antonio Perez in the outfield begin to sound appealing.

Some nice glovework in today's game, but otherwise, just another Dodger loss on the long slide to the inevitable 72-90 record they're plummeting toward.
