I hope you were taking notes, Bill. The Dynamic Duo managed to
- Go 1-9 (albeit with a meaningless home run from Finley)
- Boot a ball in the outfield, allowing a runner to get to third
- Boot a ball in the infield, allowing the winning run to cross the plate
By the way, tell that plate sloth Cabrera to get a shave, f'r chrissakes. His beard, what there is of it, looks like he's trying out for a bit part as a homeless guy on Law And Order.
Santana deserves a free punch (with his non-pitching hand, or any handy blunt instrument) at both of them for the no-decision. (Scot Shields has been so good all year, I can forgive him.)

Believe me, I wish I wasn't.
That HR last night is going to convince Scioscia to keep playing that moron in CF at the expense of D-Mac when he is activated.
The more I think about it D-Mac to 3B, Figgy to CF and Finley to the bench is pretty solid.
Figgy is a pretty good CF'er and his speed has the ability to be a difference maker out there. He can actually get to the gap and catch some would-be doubles and turn them into outs. Of course, Scioscia has to admit that Finley stinks and sit his arse down. I think that could take a while.
