Update 8/19: This Arkansas Democrat-Gazette article mentions the fact that the Travs' opponent on the mound was Baseball America's twelfth-ranked prospect in the Rangers' system, Edison Volquez, 1-5 on the year with a 4.42 ERA. Without knowing the particulars of his case -- for all we know he's coming off an injury -- it's hard to believe the Rangers as recently as last month were calling him "Little Pedro". But, this is the Texas League, where pitchers go to get clobbered; yet, Volquez pitches in the most neutral park in his division. Go figure.
