Roster Notes
- Despite contradictory reports elsewhere, Derek Lowe will make his next start despite earlier problems with a blister.
- Scott Erickson has cleared waivers, and has accepted an assignment pitching for Las Vegas. He will make his first start Thursday night against Omaha.
- Wilson Alvarez will return to the Dodgers instead of retiring before the close of the season. He will rejoin the club for tonight's game against the Nationals.
