- You do not have Finley in the lineup. Yesterday's 0-fer game proved that. The Chisox series notwithstanding, he reverted to popout-popout-popout form today. Proof positive he's over, and that God has a malicious sense of humor in letting him get a couple hits with a dinger or two.
- You do not let Erstad (.243/.314/.318 vs. lefties) face a critical lefty-lefty matchup. You pull him and let Q (.267/.313/.567 vs. lefties) come in and do the deed.

I completely agree with your points. Why Mike has to pencil Stone Cold Steve Finley in the lineup is as big a mystery as who built the pyramids.
