UTK Quick Hits
From today's UTK:
- Sammy Sosa is done with the Birds and probably with baseball in the U.S. He's thinking about a tour of Japan like former teammate Tuffy Rhodes.
- Jake Peavy will miss at least one start with an inflamed rotator cuff, maybe more.
- Will thinks the Angels will start Colon Saturday and make him leave early.
- On Cesar Izturis' Tommy John surgery: Izturis has a stretched and structurally unsound ligament, damaged by the lingering effects of an injury he suffered as a Little Leaguer. Unlike a pitcher, Izturis will be ready for spring training without noticeable effect.
- Rich Harden won't be back on Sunday, and doesn't look much better down the stretch; keep your pencil erasers handy, because his next appearance wouldn't be until Wednesday.
