UTK Quick Hits
From today's UTK:
- Answering Sean's comment yesterday, it looks like Rich Harden will start September 27 at the earliest. Even then, Carroll is skeptical.
- Bobby Crosby will start early this week.
- Padres starter Jake Peavy is throwing without pain and will be back this week. For all the sneering being done at the NL West this year -- and deservedly so -- it remains worth pointing out that the Padres are 5-1 against the Braves and 4-3 against the Cards. It could be a very surprising postseason.
- King Felix suddenly isn't looking so kingly anymore, with control trouble in Texas. Will pastes him with a red light for 2006.
- "Is Dustin Hermanson just resting his sore lower back or has Ozzie Guillen found a new closer in Bobby Jenks?" If so, Bill Stoneman, that makes one hell of a stupid offseason move you made. Unless those screws in his elbow come unglued.
