Dodgers Lose One, Gain Two Rule 5 Draftees
More from the Baseball America coverage of the Rule 5 Draft, one more Dodger was snagged, RHP Brandon Weeden by the Royals. In turn, the Dodgers drafted the wonderfully named LHP Alberto Bastardo from the Orioles, and 2B Eric Rodland from the Tigers.
No Angels have been affected either way in the Rule 5 draft thus far.

Brandon Weeden was close enough to BRANDON WOOD for my blood presure to spike for three seconds there. Yikes!
