Dodgers Sign Olmedo Saenz To 2-Year, $2M Deal
The Dodgers have signed Olmedo Saenz to a 2-year/$2M deal, according to ESPN and MLB.com.
Update: This is a very good signing. Saenz is a useful bat off the bench -- not a starter -- but without the stamina to hold it together over 162 games. He can be useful in maybe 80-90 of them, tapering off toward the end. This deal keeps him a Dodger and bolsters the bench; no way does he start. I hope.
