Dodgers Set Major League Coaching Staff

Grady Little's new staff is looking nearly complete, as he has invited former Dodger and Hall of Famer Eddie Murray to join the team as its hitting instructor. Other positions: Update: AP reports that Murray is in fact hired.

Comments:
Murray was considered an awful hitting coach in Cleveland. Not a good communicator at all. And so he was fired.

No doubt similar to the situation with the Dodgers and Jack Clark. He was a great hitter in his day, but he didn't help the Dodgers hit at all. Hitting coaches are mostly voodoo anyway.

Coincidentally or not, the Indians started to hit alot better and started to win alot more after Murray was canned.
